Law Lee, a close associate of the embattled musician Naira Marley, has ignited a firestorm of controversy with his recent candid remarks regarding the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, better known as Mohbad. Mohbad, who passed away at the age of 27 on September 12, 2023, continues to be a contentious figure, with the circumstances surrounding his death stirring debates across social media platforms.
In a bold Instagram post shared on Friday, Law Lee did not mince words as he expressed his deep-seated animosity towards Mohbad. His sentiments surfaced following a public altercation between the artists Portable and Zinoleesky, wherein Portable called out Zinoleesky for flaunting a Ferrari despite purportedly lacking a hit song.
Lee's disdain for Mohbad seemed to escalate with each passing day, even after the latter's demise. He attributed this growing resentment to Mohbad's alleged derogatory comments about fellow artist Zinoleesky, which subsequently triggered a social media spat initiated by Portable, a controversial figure in the music industry.
In his Instagram post, Law Lee remarked, "Every day my hatred for Mohbad keeps increasing even after his death… If not for all those miscaps about Zino, why would Portable have the audacity to sub him... Fooooooooooool."
Mohbad, formerly signed to Marlian Music, a label owned by Naira Marley, parted ways with the label in February 2022, marking a significant transition in his career trajectory. However, his untimely demise in 2023 led to speculations and inquiries into the circumstances surrounding his death.
Following Mohbad's passing, the Lagos State Police Command launched a 13-man special investigation team to delve into the matter, seeking clarity and closure. This investigation subsequently led to the arrest of Naira Marley and the controversial Lagos socialite Balogun Eletu, also known as Sam Larry, among others.
Prior to their apprehension, Naira Marley and Sam Larry faced public scrutiny for their alleged mistreatment of Mohbad before his untimely demise, casting a shadow over their association with the deceased artist.
