Social media activist, VeryDarkMan, has debunked a viral picture linking him to an alleged pregnancy scandal, describing the image as fake and an attempt to tarnish his reputation.
In a statement released on his official Facebook page on Sunday, the outspoken critic said he has never met the woman whose picture is circulating online and dismissed claims of being responsible for her pregnancy.
“I am not the man responsible for her pregnancy, if indeed she is pregnant. I have never met her in my life and I am not willing to meet her ever,” he wrote.
VeryDarkMan alleged that the photo was artificially generated using AI technology and suggested that the appearance being circulated might have been influenced by the use of slimming products.
He further urged Nigerians to disregard the image, while calling for collective action against false advertising and online bullying.
“Please disregard this picture because it is fake and meant to tarnish my reputation. Say no to false advertising in Nigeria, protect one another, and say no to bullying,” he added.
