Wike Allocated Over 2,000 Hectares of Prime Real Estate to His Son

A new investigative report has revealed that Nyesom Wike, the immediate past governor of Rivers State and current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), allegedly allocated more than 2,000 hectares of prime real estate to his son shortly after assuming office in August 2023.

The report, which surfaced over the weekend, alleges that the land deals were executed through official channels of the FCT administration and involved some of the most sought-after parcels within the territory.

According to the findings, the allocations raise serious concerns about potential abuse of office, conflict of interest, and disregard for due process in the management of public assets.

Although the details of the transactions are still being scrutinized, civil society groups and opposition voices have begun calling for a full investigation into the matter.

As of press time, Mr. Wike has not publicly responded to the allegations.
