BREAKING: Abducted Anambra Commissioner and Wife Released After 24-Hour Ordeal

Gunmen have released Anambra State Commissioner for Youth Development, Patrick Agha Mba, and his wife, Chizoba, just 24 hours after their abduction. The couple was attacked and kidnapped in Edo State while en route to Abuja for the wedding of Governor Charles Soludo's daughter, Adaora. Tragically, the commissioner’s aide, Ernest Offiah, was killed during the attack.

Christian Aburime, spokesperson to Governor Soludo, confirmed the couple's release on Saturday evening but could not confirm if a ransom had been paid. The wedding proceeded on Saturday in Abuja, following Adaora's traditional ceremony held in Isuofia, Anambra State, last week.
