BREAKING: Chaos in Osun as Teachers' Recruitment Exams Fail, Applicants Stranded

Governor Ademola Adeleke

In a stunning turn of events, the highly anticipated Computer-Based Test (CBT) for the Osun State Government Teacher's Recruitment Exercise failed to proceed as scheduled, leaving thousands of hopeful applicants stranded across various centers in the state.

Despite each applicant shelling out N2000 for registration, the CBT exams did not materialize, sparking frustration and outrage among those affected. Batches 1 to 4, slated for 8am to 11am, found themselves waiting until 3pm without any explanation from state officials, exacerbating their hunger and desperation.

Reports poured in from Ilesa, Ede, Osogbo, Ikire, and Ile Ife, all echoing the same tale of organizational breakdown and disappointment. As the clock ticked past 3pm, officials began locking the CBT centers, further compounding the chaos and confusion.

The failure to conduct the exams contradicted a release by M.A.K. Jimoh, the Permanent Secretary of the state Ministry of Education, assuring the public of a prompt 8am start. This discrepancy underscored the disorganization within the state government, casting doubt on its ability to manage essential processes effectively.

With applicants left in limbo and promises unfulfilled, the debacle surrounding the Osun State Teacher's Recruitment Exercise highlights systemic shortcomings and the urgent need for accountability and transparency in governance.
