Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and former governor of Rivers State, has cast his vote in the ongoing local government elections.
Wike voted at Rumepirikom, Ward 9, Unit 007, Obio/Akpo LGA at 11:15 am, a region where he once served as local government chairman.
The Minister described the voting process as peaceful and dismissed concerns over the absence of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS), reassuring that the election was proceeding smoothly without it.
