Tragic Bloodbath in Taraba and Benue Border Communities



Gunmen have unleashed a devastating attack in the border communities of Taraba and Benue states, leaving 11 individuals dead and causing extensive destruction of property. The targeted areas include Apiirgwa, a border village with Benue state, and Deke, a remote community located between Wukari and Kente in the southern part of both Wukari local government and Taraba state.

He called upon the Executive Governor of Taraba State to make a decisive pronouncement and implement measures to resettle the thousands of internally displaced persons (IDPs) who have fled the area due to the persistent violence.
