Rev. Fr. Gabriel Ukeh, a Catholic priest who was abducted in Kaduna State, has been released barely 24 hours after his abduction. According to a statement by the Director of Communications, Rev. Fr. Okafor Tochukwu, Fr. Ukeh was welcomed back to his parish community at about 9pm on Monday, June 10, 2024.
Fr. Ukeh was abducted in the early hours of Sunday at the Parish Rectory of St Thomas Parish, Zaman Dabo in Zango Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State. His release was met with gratitude and appreciation from the parish community and others who worked tirelessly to secure his freedom.
