Drama as Passenger Forcibly Removed from Enugu Air Flight, Sparks Reactions

Enugu Air, the recently launched commercial airline owned by Enugu State, has come under public scrutiny after a passenger was forcefully removed from one of its flights, an incident captured in a viral video circulating on social media.

The footage shows airline officials dragging the unidentified passenger off the aircraft, while voices in the background can be heard urging the officials on, with one saying, “Yes, yes, go down.”

As of press time, neither the airline nor the passenger has issued a statement explaining the circumstances that led to the confrontation. The reason for the removal remains unclear.

The incident has fueled debate online, drawing comparisons with recent high-profile clashes between Nigerian passengers and airline officials. These include the altercation between singer King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as KWAM 1, and ValueJet staff at Abuja’s Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, as well as the confrontation between Comfort Emmanson and attendants on an Ibom Air flight from Uyo to Lagos.

Aviation authorities are yet to comment on the latest case involving Enugu Air.
