"Katsina Governor Declares Extra Holiday for Eid-el-Fitr Celebrations"

 


Katsina State Governor, Dikko Radda, has announced an additional public holiday on Friday, April 12, 2024, to enable workers in the state to fully partake in the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr. The decision comes in response to the extension of the Eid-el-Fitr public holidays by the Federal Government, which declared Thursday, April 11, as a public holiday nationwide.


In a statement issued by the state Commissioner for Information and Culture, Bala Zango, the governor emphasized the importance of allowing workers to enjoy the Eid-el-Fitr festivities with their families.
