Kano Governor Nominates Commissioners, Including Kwankwaso's Son

The Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Yusuf, has nominated Mustapha Kwankwaso, son of Sen. Rabiu Kwankwaso, as a commissioner. Mustapha Kwankwaso, a former governor of Kano and the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party in the 2023 general election, has been selected as one of the nominees to serve in the state's executive council.

Additionally, Adamu Kibiya, a former Commissioner for Land, who was suspended for making derogatory statements on tribunal judges, has been nominated for reappointment. Usman Aliyu and Abduljabbar Garko are the other two nominees put forward by the governor.

The nominations have been forwarded to the Kano State House of Assembly for the necessary screening and confirmation processes. Once confirmed, the nominees will assume their roles as commissioners, contributing to the governance and development of the state.
